Organisation
As Cavalinhas is a company registered at Turismo de Portugal, the national tourism authority. Organised by Barbara Agnès Gisèle Ryckewaert, NIF 305578146, with licence no. 117/2025 (RNAAT) and recognised as nature tourism by the ICNF.
The relationship between the service provider Barbara Ryckewaert- Cavalinhas and the clients is governed by the general conditions presented on a dedicated page and by the specific conditions of each activity presented on its dedicated pages.
Insurances
During the activities, participants are covered by the following legal insurance policies :
– Personal accident insurance (policy no. 207571409 – Allianz) – covers the risk of accident for all participants in the activities.
Death and permanent invalidity : 52 320,88 €.
Treatment costs : 4579,29 €.
– Civil liability insurance (policy no. 207569507 – Allianz) – covers material and non-material damage caused to third parties and customers by accidents occurring during activities.
Capital insured : 50 000 €
– If participants wish to leave the activity before the scheduled end, they must inform the organiser in advance, in which case the above-mentioned insurance cover will no longer apply.
Program of activities
– The programme and specific conditions of each activity (theme, description, duration, price, etc.) are valid only for the date announced, and the customer must therefore read them before registering or booking.
– We reserve the right to modify the programme for reasons of force majeure, such as changes in weather conditions, and customers will be informed of these changes in good time.
– The end time indicated in the activity programme is approximate and may vary slightly depending on the dynamics of the group.
– Transport to the activity venue, food and accommodation are not included, unless otherwise stated.
Registration and booking
Enrolments and bookings can be made by filling in the forms provided online. As Cavalinhas will confirm the availability of the registration or booking and will send an e-mail containing the bank details for payment of the activity. Reservations will only be effective once payment has been received.
By registering or booking an activity, the customer confirms :
– Have read and accepted the general terms and conditions presented here, as well as the programme and the specific terms and conditions of the activity for which you are registering.
– Be in sufficiante physical condition to follow the activities.
– Accept the risks inherent in participation, namely the risks associated with activities in natural areas, such as personal injury resulting from falls, injuries, insect bites, direct exposure to weather conditions, as well as the possibility of waiting longer than usual for medical assistance in the event of an accident, when activities take place in places that are difficult to access.
– You will comply with the organiser’s instructions on how to behave and the rules to be followed during the activity, in particular the rules on safety and the use of natural areas.
Payments
The full registration or booking fee must be paid in advance by bank transfer (preferred method of payment) or MB WAY.
Upon receipt of the registration or reservation request, Cavalinhas will send the client an e-mail containing bank details and the deadline for payment. Once payment has been made, the client must send us proof of payment by e-mail.
Reservations will only be effective once payment has been received.
Cancellation and refund
Cavalinhas reserves the right to cancel activities at any time in the following situations :
– The number of registered participants is below the minimum number.
– Adverse weather conditions, high risk of fire or other conditions preventing the activity from being carried out safely.
– Force majeure preventing the organiser from carrying out the activity.
In the event of cancellation of the activity by Cavalinhas, registered participants will be informed via the telephone number indicated on the registration form. In this case, the client may choose to request a full refund of the amount already paid or receive a voucher for the same amount, which will be used to register for another date.
With regard to the cancellation of registrations and bookings by the customer, please note the following conditions :
– Cancellation requests must be sent by e-mail to cavalinhaspt@cavale, or by SMS to 933373203, stating your name and the activity for which you have registered.
– If you register for a scheduled activity, you must request cancellation at least 24 hours in advance to obtain a refund of the registration fee.
– Activity bookings for organised groups and nature retreats have cancellation deadlines that differ according to the type of activity booked and the commitments made with the accommodation units and partners. Please refer to the specific conditions communicated to you at the time of booking.
– If you do not arrive at the meeting point on time or if you request a cancellation less than 24 hours in advance, we regret to inform you that the amount already paid will not be refunded.
