The information and data concerning you are necessary for the management of your order and our commercial relations. This information and data is also kept for security purposes, in order to comply with legal and regulatory obligations in the context of our activities.

The information and data concerning you enable us to improve and personalise the services we offer you and the information we send you.
3. Data collected on our site
3.1 What data do we collect?
In particular, we collect and process your first and last names, email address, telephone number, tax identification (for Portuguese customers), IP address, connection data and browsing data.
The compulsory or optional nature of the data is indicated at the time of collection by an asterisk. Some data is collected automatically as a result of your actions on the site.
We also carry out audience measurement, for example, we measure the number of pages viewed, the number of visits to the site, as well as the activity of visitors on the site and the frequency with which they return.
Customers are responsible for the accuracy of the personal data they provide when they register/book an activity or fill in a contact form.

We collect the information that you provide to us in particular when :
- You browse our site
- You submit forms (contact, registration)
- You take part in our activities

- The data collected on the site is intended exclusively for Cavalinhas.
- It may be transmitted to partner organisations (EPAE, Quinta do Pisão) for the purposes of carrying out activities on their sites. The partner organisations undertake to use our clients’ data exclusively for this purpose.

Cavalinhas will send a reply as soon as possible, within a maximum of one month of exercising the right.
5. How long is my data kept?
To calculate the most appropriate retention period, Cavalinhas distinguishes between :
- Website Visitors’ who are not registered for an activity.
- ‘Students’ who are registered for an activity.
For visitors, data will be deleted after 1 month without interaction. Interaction meaning the opening of a canvassing email.
For students, the starting point for the retention period is the end of the activity. Customer data will be kept for 1 year after the end of the activity.
6. What security measures are taken to protect my data?
To guarantee the security of customers’ personal data, we use SSL digital certificates on our website and in the e-mail service (Gmail), which ensure encrypted transmission of the data entered.
Rules applicable to bank details and credit cards:
No bank details are used on the site.
Events Manager
We use Google services to create the maps and provide answers when searching for events by location. These services may collect data in accordance with Google’s privacy policy.
We collect and store information that you provide for bookings in order to process your request and to keep a record of the booking. This information is also used to manage the event.
We collect and store information that you provide about events (and associated locations) that you wish to publish on our site.
We may use temporary cookies to store information about a booking in progress as well as error/confirmation messages during the submission or management of your events and locations.
LiteSpeed Cache
This site uses caching to facilitate faster response times and a better user experience. Caching potentially stores a copy of each web page displayed on this site. All cache files are temporary and are never accessible to a third party, unless required to obtain technical support from the cache extension provider. Cache files expire according to a schedule set by the site administrator, but can easily be purged by the administrator before their natural expiry date, if necessary. Akismet
